Ektomorf

new Album "HERETIC" out October 24th, 2025 via Bleeding Nose Records

The album

HERETIC is not a normal record. It is not a continuation, not an experiment, not a safe move. It is the result of loss, pain, and rage I could no longer swallow. I lost my mother, I lost my dog Wuffa, and I almost lost myself. I was standing at nothing. At Antfarm Studio with Tue Madsen, this chaos turned into an album. The most brutal, most honest, and most personal album EKTOMORF has ever made.

HERETIC connects to the raw power of Destroy and Outcast, but it goes deeper. Guitars in Drop A and Drop B, massive Mesa Boogie walls, drums like wrecking balls. Every song carries scars. Every song is truth.

The songs

Heretic
The title track is an outcry. It is about judgment, guilt, and the feeling of being cast aside. “I’m the heretic, fuck you, you judge me, I hate you.” Aggressive, uncompromising, a statement. It opens the record and makes it clear there will be no mercy.

Dear God
This is my hardest reckoning with religion and false promises. Everyone I loved was taken away from me. What remains is pain and rage. The song is curse, accusation, and release. No video, no filter – only words meant to hurt.

Bitch
Dirty, raw, personal. A song about betrayal and reckoning. No hidden messages, no metaphors – only pure rage. One of those tracks that hits you straight in the face because it is exactly what it is: honest and ugly.

Suicide Note
The darkest point of the album. A song about depression, about the abyss, about the moment when you almost give up. But also about survival. We made a video for it because this track has to be seen and felt. It is harsh, painful, real.

Pure Hate
A track like a hammer blow. Born out of anger about false treatments, frustration with systems that destroy instead of healing. No space for diplomacy. Only pure aggression, pure truth.

Insects
It is about voices in the head, about inner demons crawling and feeding. A song about the madness that slowly takes over, and how you let it, because it has become familiar.

Down
A song about betrayal and false brothers. People who call you family and then stab you in the back. In the end, truth always comes out. Heavy groove, heavy anger, pulling you down, just like the title says.

Loveless
This is about loneliness, sickness, the feeling that nobody understands what is happening inside. A track full of defiance, full of rage at those pretending to help. Short, direct, wounding.

Buried Alive
A song about grief and loss. About feeling buried alive in this life. “Everyone I love buried in the ground.” It is filled with pain, but also love for those who are gone. One of the most emotional moments on the record.

The Sound of Pain and Emptiness
The final piece. Instrumental. No lyrics, no voice. Only sound carrying pain and emptiness. It is the credits, the echo of the record. Atmosphere that sums everything up: darkness, despair, but also beauty inside the chaos.

The singles

Heretic – March 28, 2025
The first signal. With video. Straight to the face, uncompromising. It showed immediately where this record was heading: aggression, raw power, no compromise. The video underlines it – raw and stripped down.

Dear God – May 2, 2025
The harshest reckoning. No video, because the song alone says everything. Curse, rage, and accusation. Anyone who hears it knows instantly this record is not made for the mainstream.

Bitch – June 6, 2025
A song like an open wound. Direct, unfiltered, personal. No video. No decoration. Just the song.

Suicide Note – July 11, 2025
The darkest song on the album. With video, because it must be seen. It shows what it means to stand at the edge and still keep going. One of the most intense moments in EKTOMORF’s history.

Pure Hate – August 15, 2025
The title says it all. Hate, pure and simple. A track that will explode live. Heavy, groovy, destructive.

Down – September 19, 2025
The last signal before the record. Groove, heaviness, rage. A track that proves EKTOMORF is as much about groove as it is about aggression.

The formats

Metal belongs in your hands. That is why HERETIC comes in four versions:

CD Digipak – compact, with booklet, for everyone who wants it direct and classic.

Splatter Vinyl – collector’s piece. Heavy, colored, loud even before the needle drops.

Cassette (ONLY available in the DELUXE WOOD BOX) – for the first time in the band’s history. Oldschool, raw, a piece of culture for true fans.

Deluxe Wood Box – the centerpiece. Handcrafted, with exclusive contents, strictly limited. Not mass production, but a collector’s item that lasts.

Each format stands for closeness to the fans. For something real. Not plastic throwaway, but something you can hold, listen to, and wear with pride.

The team

I am proud to be working with Bleeding Nose Records. For the first time I feel a label understood what EKTOMORF needs. No marketing talk, no distance. Teamwork. Honest, direct, together.

You can see it everywhere: in the strong streaming numbers of the singles, in the first cassette in our history, in the wooden box that fans want so badly it gets preordered before it is even finished. For me this is proof that we are finally where we belong.
